  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 tablespoons custard powder
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups butter
  • 2.5 cups Tea biscuits
  • 3 cups Strawberry jam

How to prepare

  1. Place NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk, custard powder, egg yolk and vanilla essence in a large saucepan. Stir all the ingredients with a whisk until well combined.
  2. Gradually add the boiling water under constant stirring, bring to a boil while stirring and simmer over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  3. Combine butter and crushed biscuits in a bowl then press over the base and sides of a greased 26cm tart pan with a removable bottom.
  4. Spread the strawberries jam over the base then pour the cooled cream mixture over the strawberry jam, smooth the top. Chill for 2-3 hours.
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberries and serve.
