  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 liter Water
  • 2 tins NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 75 g Cashew nut, unsalted
  • 75 g Raisins
  • 1 g Saffron filaments
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom

How to prepare

  1. Wash the rice well and soak for half an hour in enough water to fully cover it.
  2. Put 1 liter of water and NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk in deep thick bottom pan and bring to a boil. Then add rice, cook till the milk thickens and reduces to half its original volume. Add the cashew nuts, raisins, saffron and cardamom powder, and cook for a few more minutes.
  3. Allow the Rice Kheer to cool then chill. Serve cold garnished with rose petals
