Ingredients 9 items

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium or 150 g onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 medium tomato or 150 g, peeled and diced
  • 5.5 cups or 1375 ml water
  • 1 sachet MAGGI Lentil Soup
  • 300 g peeled prawns medium size, cleaned and cut into small cubes
  • 1.5 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

How to prepare

  1. Warm olive oil in a large saucepan, cook onions and garlic with stirring until they become tender. Stir in cumin seeds and tomato and cook with stirring for 2 minutes.
  2. Add water and MAGGI Lentil Soup. Bring to a boil with constant stirring and simmer over low heat for 8 minutes.
  3. Add the prawns and simmer for another 5 minutes or until the prawns are cooked.
  4. Just before serving stir in the coriander.
