  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 400 g lean lamb
  • 5.5 cups Water
  • 2 cubes MAGGI Less Salt Chicken Stock
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 5 medium Zucchini
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 tin canned chickpeas
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How to prepare

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan, cook garlic and chopped onions for 3-4 minutes or until they become tender. Add lamb cubes and fry for 6-8 minutes or until meat becomes brown in color.
  2. Add water and MAGGI Less Salt Chicken Stock cubes then bring to boil and simmer for 1 hour 15 minutes or until lamb becomes tender.
  3. Add the tomato cubes, tomato paste, zucchinis, carrot and chickpeas. Simmer for 20-25 minutes or until zucchinis become tender. Season with cinnamon powder and serve.
  4. Serve with steamed rice.
