  • 500 g lean minced beef
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 3 medium Potatoes
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 cubes MAGGI Less Salt Chicken Stock
  • 1 teaspoon White ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

How to prepare

  1. Combine meat, chopped onion, black pepper, cinnamon powder and parsley in a mixing bowl. Mix well then divide the mixture into 12 meatballs. Flatten meatballs to form patties. Arrange in a 30cm x 24cm baking dish.
  2. Arrange potato slices on top of the meat patties then the onions, bell pepper rings and tomatoes slices.
  3. Put water, tomato paste, MAGGI Less Salt Chicken Stock cubes, white pepper and cinnamon powder in a saucepan. Bring to boil then simmer for 5 minutes with stirring to mix well.
  4. Pour prepared sauce into the oven plate and cover with foil. Bake in a 200˚C oven for 1 hour 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
