Ingredients 10 items

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g or ½ cup caster sugar
  • 125 ml or ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 250 g plain flour
  • 50 g sifted cocoa powder or ½ cup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 1 cup or 150 g melted dark chocolate

How to prepare

  1. Combine eggs, sugar and oil in an electric beater. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Add to the mixture; flour, sifted cacao powder, vanilla, baking powder and bicarbonate soda. Beat for another 2 minutes or until well combined.
  3. Add gradually Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk and the melted chocolate and mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour mixture into a 23x28cm greased and floured baking pan and bake in 180°C preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
