Ingredients 6 items

  • 2 cups Ground Almonds
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 100 g Rose water
  • 1 packet Spring roll wrapper
  • 2 cups sugar syrup or 200 g, optional
  • 1 pinch Pinch of ground cinnamon, for garnishing

How to prepare

  1. Combine the almond powder, NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk and rose water to make soft dough.
  2. Cut the spring roll sheets into 4 pieces each (around 9x9cm). Put a small quantity of the mixture inside the dough and fold it making the shape of a money bag.
  3. Make a small thread from the same dough sheet and roll it over the basket to close it firmly; dip the end of the thread with a little quantity of flour mixed with water. Bake in a 140˚C preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes (color should stay white).
