Ingredients 12 items

  • 1 cup White self-raising flour or 150 g
  • 1 cup Caster sugar or 50 g
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut or 50 g
  • 1 cup butter or 50 g, melted
  • 1 Egg
  • For the topping:
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla powder
  • 1 cup Walnuts or 80 g, crushed
  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut or 50 g

How to prepare

  1. Grease a 19cm x 29cm rectangular pan, cover the bottom with baking paper and extend over 2 opposite sides.
  2. Combine all ingredients in medium bowl and mix well. Press mixture over prepared pan and bake in a 170˚C oven for 15 minutes or until it becomes light brown.
  3. For the topping:
  4. Combine all ingredients of the topping. Fold over the hot base and bake in the oven for another 20 minutes or until firm then keep aside to cool and dust with icing sugar.
